This Privacy Policy describes how resonance-book.com (the "Site") collects, uses, and shares information about visitors. The Site is operated by Ron K. Miller doing business as Open Channel Press ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We collect information you submit directly through forms on the Site. This includes:
Our hosting provider, Hostinger, maintains basic server access logs. These logs record visit timestamps, requested pages, IP addresses, browser type, and referring URLs. The Site does not use third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking. The Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals because it does not perform the kind of tracking that signal is designed to limit.
Purchases on the Site are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Stripe handles card data under its own privacy and security terms, available at stripe.com/privacy.

The Site does not set tracking cookies. The Site does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar cross-site tracking tools. Stripe Checkout, which is used at the point of purchase, may set its own cookies under Stripe's policies. Your browser may also retain standard session data while you are on the Site.
We retain your email address on the launch list until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribe instructions are included in every email we send. Contact form submissions are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of the exchange. Order records are retained for at least seven years for tax and accounting purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These can include the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, the right to know what categories of information we collect and share, and the right to opt out of certain uses of your information. California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states have enacted laws that grant some or all of these rights. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it.
The Site links to external pages, including bookseller listings, social platforms, and the Open Channel Press website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. Review their policies before submitting any personal information.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be noted on the Site for a reasonable period after they take effect.
